Silver Products

Shielding HF & NF

This product shields high-frequency (HF) electromagnetic fields. Unless otherwise specified, dB values shown are at 1 GHz. Measurements from 600 MHz to 40 GHz according to ASTM D4935-10 or IEEE Std 299-2006 standards.

This product with electrically conductive surface shields low-frequency alternating electric fields (AF). For this it needs to be grounded.

Declaration of the quality of the shielding

For the shielding of high-frequency electrosmog (HF), the logarithmic ratio is usually expressed in decibels (dB).
However, expressed in percentages, a technical layman can usually get a better picture:

The table shows that even at a “low” value of 10dB, 90% shielding takes place and that all our canopies shield over 99% of all incident rays even in the extremely high frequencies. In the “main frequencies” between 2.4 GHz and 6 GHz, which are a daily burden for us, it is even over 99.99%.
