With a product from our SAFECAVE series, you choose canopies, tents for shielding a sleeping place, living place or workplace. The SAFECAVE translated is literally your safe cave for protection from electromagnetic fields.

Screened canopy in box shape for double beds up to 220 cm wide. Box shape provides the best feeling of space, but can not be hung on sloping roofs. Entrance: Through two overlapping openings. Mounting: Suspension by four points on the ceiling. To stabilize the box shape, rods (not included) can be inserted into the two tabs sewn into the top. Grounding: Grounding with our magnetic grounding connector GCM (not included in delivery).

Sewn from a high quality silver fabric with high light and air permeability. Unique in this price range is the very high screening attenuation of 44 dB.

Silver Products

• Silver products discolor over time and already have stains from the factory. If you cannot accept discoloration, please choose fabrics from Swiss Shield®.
• Silver materials have a limited shelf life, the life depends on the frequency of movement.
• Our silver fabrics do not contain nano-silver, but a thick metallic silver layer.

Care instructions

• Gentle washing at 30°C exclusively with our TEXCARE detergents
• Do not iron
• Do not dry in dryer

Grounding

This product with an electrically conductive surface can be grounded by integration into the functional potential equalization (FPA). Suitable components can be found under “Grounding”.

Shielding HF & NF

This product shields high-frequency (HF) electromagnetic fields. Unless otherwise specified, dB values shown are at 1 GHz. Measurements from 600 MHz to 40 GHz according to ASTM D4935-10 or IEEE Std 299-2006 standards.

This product with electrically conductive surface shields low-frequency alternating electric fields (AF). For this it needs to be grounded.

Declaration of the quality of the shielding

For the shielding of high-frequency electrosmog (HF), the logarithmic ratio is usually expressed in decibels (dB).
However, expressed in percentages, a technical layman can usually get a better picture:

The table shows that even at a “low” value of 10dB, 90% shielding takes place and that all our canopies shield over 99% of all incident rays even in the extremely high frequencies. In the “main frequencies” between 2.4 GHz and 6 GHz, which are a daily burden for us, it is even over 99.99%.
